Hello, my name is Danyaela Alyn Sedano, but I am known as Ayla. I was born to Filipino parents on April 21, 2007, in Los Angeles, California. I went to Beverly Christian Preschool when I was a toddler and grew up knowing Christ. Most of my classmates in that school were Korean, and I was the only Filipina. When I graduated from Kindergarten, my parents and I moved to Las Vegas for more business opportunities and to stop my asthma. During my stay in Vegas, I went to International Christian Academy and created many friendships. Not only that, but also my walk with God grew stronger because of what my teachers have taught me. ICA has given me deep, long-lasting friendships and memories that I could never forget. With these values I have learned in ICA for 8 years, I grew in maturity and graduated to high school. I have been going to Word of Life Christian Academy since my high school years. At first, I was afraid to enter a different school, but because of the friends and teachers who have supported my journey, I grew stronger in my walk with God.

In my pastime, I love to draw, animate, sing, voice act, cosplay, and play the piano sometimes. Drawing and animating have been my favorites, and not my favorites, when it comes to my pastimes, and I have been doing them for almost my lifetime. I became interested in singing and voice acting through Disney and other independent masterpieces. Most of my hobbies are self-taught, except for singing and piano. For singing, I have a vocal coach, and her name is Sharon Tanyag (I call her Tita Sharon). She has been teaching me for almost nine years, and she brought me into theatre and increased my interest in voice acting. As for piano, I have had two teachers teach me. The games I love to play are Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Minecraft, Roblox, Mobile Legends, and Wuthering Waves. I especially love to cosplay because cosplaying helps me boost my confidence and express myself. I got into cosplay when COVID hit, and I cosplayed characters from anime, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and other games that are too many to name. I don’t usually like to play too many games in a day since I love to go out and walk around a lot. I enjoy being in nature, especially at a beach. I always feel connected to the ocean because the waters are soothing and beautiful to look at. I also love desserts, especially boba, macarons, and ice cream. My favorite food is Tinola (Filipino chicken vegetable soup with rice) and Bulalo (Filipino beef vegetable soup with rice).

After high school, I would like to pursue my dream of being in the medical field. I want to become a cardiologist (and maybe a cardiac surgeon) because I want to live my life helping others and walking in God’s purpose. There are people in the world who require a medical professional, and I would like to take that role to ensure that everyone has a home to return to. I would also want to continue to be in the art/animation industry and theatre. I want to audition for Broadway and to be a part of many projects. As a believer in Christ, I want to use my influence to introduce others to Christ. I want to be able to inspire and motivate others to do what they are called for.

I would like to thank God for bringing me into this world, and I would like to thank my mom and my dad for being my teachers in my life. I thank all of my friends and family for supporting me on my journey. Thank you for the memories we’ve made. Growing up, I admired art. I remember watching those old Disney animated movies on repeat because of their art, animation, and storytelling. The show that made me start drawing seriously was My Little Pony. I loved that show very much when I was younger, which led me to try to draw ponies. I recall this time when I was watching MLP speedpaints and wanting to become a better artist. As years passed, YouTube fed me with videos of artists creating masterpieces.
